The 31.5" L x 9.75"-12" W backrest allows for a flat, an incline and a decline position held sturdily with a steel brace bar in welded cups on the inner side of the uprights. The 1" x 4" rectangular uprights themselves have a ideal reverse pitch for a more natural lift and include diagonal rear supports with standard size plate posts for both counterbalancing and convenient storage. The adjustable weight rest fits securely into six positions on either the front or rear of the dual uprights for presses or squats and is held tightly into place with a locking bar. The safety spotters fit in the same location in the same way and provide additional safety for self-spotting. The weight rest and safety spotters both offer a 300 lb. capacity in bar and weights. The 14" L x 14" W seat offers fore and aft movement as well as angle adjustment and an impressive 2.5" thick padding. This will allow for users of varying heights and body proportions to use the E-4424 in comfort with proper body positioning.
